The vehicle manufacturer Nissan introduced a compact 5 doors hatchback named Nissan Leaf in 2010. Initially it was launched in Japan and USA but shortly it was also adopted by European countries and Canada. This environment friendly car is all electric and produces no tailpipe pollution or greenhouse gas emissions. It is the 1st electric car made in bulk quantity by a vehicle manufacturer. The easy to drive car costs perhaps one-third to one-quarter as much per mile to operate as a gasoline car. It is not a vehicle uses an engine with some number of cylinders and a power output in horsepower, the Leaf is propelled by an electric motor driving the front wheels and rated in kilowatts of output. The Electric Car uses an 80 kW / 110 hp front-mounted electric motor.
